YOUR JOURNEY AT A GLANCE
Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa → agreed Samaná Bay boat connection → Cayo Levantado → confirmed return
This starts away from Samaná Bay. Compare the complete road-and-boat day with a Samaná overnight; no local south-coast departure is assumed.
Identify the current La Romana property precisely
Hyatt's official listing identifies Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa at Playa Bayahibe as adults-only. It is not Secrets Cap Cana or Secrets Tides in Uvero Alto. Use the current name from the stay confirmation and clarify any older or ambiguous voucher with the hotel. The words 'La Romana' alone describe a wider destination, not a confirmed hotel collection place or an instruction to meet a boat on the resort beach.
Plan the journey from Bayahíbe
A short walk to the Bayahíbe waterfront does not solve the journey to Cayo Levantado. Distinguish the village from a Dominicus resort when giving your collection address.
The first planning decision is the connection from the south coast to the named Samaná Bay embarkation point. A familiar local beach or marina does not identify the Cayo Levantado vessel. Get the complete route before comparing Classic, Premium or Private requests.
What to confirm before leaving Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa
Compare the entire road-and-boat outing with moving to Samaná for a night. Ask how much time remains on Cayo Levantado after both travel directions are included.
A hotel reservation, room category or an all-inclusive meal plan does not establish the terms of an independent excursion. Get the collection location and the party’s boat requirements in writing before treating the request as confirmed.
- Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa: exact entrance or map pin, and excursion date
- Adults, children and any walking or boarding requirements
- Road collection, named pier, useful island time and hotel return
- Final total, inclusions, cancellation and weather arrangements
Choose the experience that fits the complete day
Count both road directions, boarding, rest stops and time on the island. If the proposal compresses the beach visit or returns later than your group can comfortably manage, compare a Samaná overnight or a different excursion date.
Ask for Classic, Premium or Private according to the actual boat and itinerary you want. Resort room benefits do not transfer to Cayo Levantado Resort, and a request does not reserve a place.
Questions about this departure
Does Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa have a confirmed Cayo Levantado pickup?
This research guide does not establish daily hotel collection or a hotel partnership. Ask for a dated quote naming the actual meeting point and return arrangement.
Which area should I use for Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa?
Use Bayahíbe together with the complete property name and address from the booking. A short walk to the Bayahíbe waterfront does not solve the journey to Cayo Levantado. Distinguish the village from a Dominicus resort when giving your collection address.
Can this be a relaxed day from Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa?
Count both road directions, boarding, rest stops and time on the island. If the proposal compresses the beach visit or returns later than your group can comfortably manage, compare a Samaná overnight or a different excursion date.
